Latest updates:
Hi Friends and Collectors,
Our projects for 2007 include Precision Engineering’s entry into the 1/16 scale plow market. We are going to be making an 8 bottom plow to fit the Precision 8020’s and our 8010, a 10 bottom to fit our 4300 and 6-7 and 8 bottom plows in both red and green. The 8 and 10 bottom plows are fully mounted plows. Our 6-7 and 8 bottom plows can be semi mount or will have an on land version. This our first attempt in building plows and we hope to have all these available late this year. These plows are hand made as are all our products and they are time consuming. I want to thank you in advance for your patience.
We are also planning to start building the big red Steiger frame 4WDs. The first in that series will be the 4366 followed the 4386 continuing thru the 7788. We even plan to build the Cummins conversion. W e will have also various Ertl conversions throughout the year. The purpose of our Ertl conversion projects is to produce a tractor that otherwise may never be produced. These tractors have several parts, made exclusively by Precision Engineering, which enhance their realism.
All of the Ertl customs have been completely disassembled, the plastic parts have been sandblasted, epoxy primed and painted. This takes the cheap “plastic look” away from the tractors. They also include several additional parts made exclusively by Precision Engineering such as tow cables, wheel weights, front and rear weights, hydraulic remotes, GPS units, amber warning lights, levers and special brown cloth paint on the seats. The big Industrial tires are exclusive to Precision Engineering.
Only 100 serial numbered tractors of each version will be built, with the exception of the 8010, 500 of the 8010 conversions will be built. E-mail us to see what’s available. Last updated on Wednesday February 07, 2007 |
